Skip Hire Terms and Conditions

 

1. All skips must be a level load for safe transportation. There is a possibility of overloaded skips being rejected for transportation.

2. Strictly no fires within the skip. Any fire damaged skips shall be charged to the hirer.

3. No hazardous waste is permitted within the skip. Hazardous waste comprises of Asbestos, Gas Cylinders, Flamable Liquids and Chemicals.

4. Skips are generaly hired for a maximum of 2 weeks. Alternative arrangements can be made with our office.

5. All customers are responsible for alerting David Ritchie and Sons Limited when a skip requires servicing.

6. All customers are responsible for any damage to properties if skip is required outwith the public highway.

7. It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that any skips required on a public highway or public access area have the appropriate permits, lights and bollards in place prior to skip delivery.

8. The customer is responsible for the cleaning of any mess left during and after the skip hire.

9. Any damage to skips outwith the owners fault shall be the responsibility of the customer.

9. It is not permited for the skip to be moved from where it has been placed by the driver.
